This is a great Saturday for me!
- I slept in until 12 noon which was about 12 hours of sleep that I really needed. This isn’t uncommon for me due to chronic health issues.
- I watched several episodes of Stargate SG-1.
- Now I’m watching the Va Tech vs Ga Tech football game. I’m a Va Tech Hokie alum.
- Tonight I’m going to try out a new recipe for dinner.
But the good thing about Saturday is that I’m looking forward to church tomorrow. I haven’t been to church in a few weeks. I’ve been out of town and sometimes, because of my health, I’m not able to wake up in time.
Today I’m craving Sunday. I guess you could say I’m:
- Craving grace
- craving church
- craving worship
- craving the Word of God
- craving fellowship
Now that we’re back to 2 services on Sunday I don’t know who goes to which service. So, I go to the 10:30 am service. Will I see there? Which service do you go to?

Hey, i’m in the same boat! (sort of). It’s been 3 weeks since I’ve been to church (i’ve been out of town) and I’m definitely craving sunday, craving fellowship, craving worship, and craving the Word of God. I’ve missed UPC.
I’ll be at the 10:30 service!

Well, I guess I have to take back my last comment. It looks like the Williams Zoo Crew will be staying home tomorrow from church. Our three children and myself have come down with a slight fever and diarrhea over the weekend. My son also threw up tonight. So far, my husband is the only one not sick in the house. Ahhhh…the fall season officially starts in our household now with school illnesses!

We are at the 9:00 worship service. Then you can find us with the 4th and 5th graders for Sunday School during 10:30 hour. I’m glad you came back there to see us this morning after church!

We usually go to 10:30. I love your phrase “craving Sunday” - I’ve been thinking about it all week.
