Did you know that you can really call Santa?
That’s right. His phone number is 1-800-972-6242.
The kids and I tried it today and it worked! (Shhh…it’s a recording of him talking. Apparently it’s been around for a few years and he has a different greeting for the 12 days leading up to Christmas).
So, I don’t know what your take is or spiritual position on Santa, but it is cute.
You want to know something funny…
We tried to kind of not “play up” the whole Santa thing with our kids because we were hoping they would not experience so much of the commercialization of Christmas, but rather the true “Christ” meaning of Christmas. Well, a few weeks ago Natalie started talking about Santa. And I said, “Yea. But you know he is pretend right, honey?” To which Natalie replied (with tears in her eyes, “No. He’s real Mommy.” So, who knows!!!

It says it works thru the 12 days before christmas. its only the first week, try again on the 15th.
