We had a great time with SAK on Friday night. They’re ALWAYS funny, in my opinion! Even funnier, I thought, was that there were 3 men performing for a room full of women! Anna and her cell phone cracked me up! She did a great job with her performance up front!
So, what was your favorite part of the weekend?
Did you meet new people?
Let’s see how many comments we can get on this post!
FYI: recipes come out on Wednesday so come back then for Rinnie’s awesome brownies!

SAK was hilarious, I enjoyed it! I really liked Understanding Your God-Given Personality!

The sex talk was good but I’d say SAK was the best.

I really enjoyed all the seminars I went to!! And SAK was even funnier being at a table full of women to laugh with. Gotta love the candy on the tables, too…Nice job, planners!!

I liked the brownies (although I still maintain they are a definitive cookie bar and not a brownie).
I also liked the seminars. Any way to get notes from the seminars we missed???

Great idea-I’ll work on getting the sesion notes on the upc website or maybe even here. My favorite part was seeing so many of UPC women together! For those of you who hesitated, but came anyways thanks for taking a chance.

I loved seeing all the women - older and younger - and putting names with faces. All the food was so good, and I got a lot out of “the sex talk,” as I’m guessing it will forever be known as. I thought the SAK performance was the funniest I’ve ever seen!

I too, enjoyed the sex talk. I also enjoyed seeing so many women, of all different ages, come together for fellowship and great teaching. I can’t wait for the retreat in September!

It was a great conference. I enjoyed the three seminars that I attended, but like others would love to get information on some others…especially “Loving Diffcult People”. All the speakers would be great for Simply Soul. Thanks to all who worked to make this a fun learning experience for all. You are one heck of a creative team!

I really enjoyed the who weekend. Friday night it was great to laugh for an hour and a half! And the sessions Saturday were interesting and diverse. I got to spend time with friends - and meet new friends. Thanks!

It was so great to see so many women attending! I think we’ll have to do it again. It was a great length, great food, fun on Friday evening, and just the right amount of time on Saturday. One of the sessions I attended was on health and nutrition. Kim gave us a recipe for Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies that I tried…very yummy!

I enjoyed all 3 of the seminars I went to. I must agree with Pam that the health and nutrition one was great! I learned about taking care of myself but not heap guilt that I’m not doing enough. The information was helpful and there were a couple of recipes she gave us and I can’t wait to try them out! Thanks Ruthie and gals for doing a womens gathering in this format it was perfect!!!

I thought it was a great weekend and a creative way to do a women’s conference. SAK was very good on Friday night, and I enjoyed all of the seminars on Saturday.I would love to get notes from the seminars I missed out on. Thanks to all of the organizers!

For me the weekend worked out well because I couldn’t get to the SAK night or the first Saturday session. But I still felt like I could jump in and enjoy the rest of the sessions. Thanks, Kristen, for helping our group prepare for the possibility of having to care for elderly parents. It also helped me know how to encourage and pray for friends in in this season of life.

As for the notes from the seminars, I’ll be posting them! I just have to…uh….get them.
