If you watch American Idol you’ve already seen this. I don’t watch American Idol but heard about this! How awesome that Idol Gives Back chose “Shout to the Lord” to sing, of all the songs out there to pick from. Check it out.

What I found even more amazing is that they sang is again last night, too! And this time, they didn’t change any of the words. In this video they change the words at the beginning from “My Jesus, my Savior” to “My Shepherd, my Savior.” But last night they actually said Jesus. I don’t know how they came to the decision to sing this song, but I think it’s great!!

I didn’t watch the show, but I heard about it on the radio and I couldn’t believe what they were saying. For such a maintstream show, it’s amazing that they sang this song for the public! How awesome!
