Sarah,
My position at OCPS as a Math Teacher was also cut because of the budget. This past school year was my first year as a teacher and it was also my internship to complete my masters in math education. I prayed all summer for another teaching position and it has been really hard for me to accept the fact that I won't be teaching this year. For three years my family had to make sacrifices, not having me at home while I went to school and worked on assignments, living on only one income, etc., and now I am not teaching.
Thankfully, I was able to go back to my old job at Lockheed Martin, but my hope is to go back to teaching... one day...
I will pray for you to pass the GRE. I did a lot of praying myself! I got an 1100. Also, I have two study guides if you didn't buy them yet and I can help you with the math portion (I love Math!). You probably know Kim and Mark St. Angelo from UPC, you may ask them for my number if you're interested.
