Craving Grace by Ruthie Delk

I grew up in Europe as a missionary kid and met my husband David while at Furman University, where I graduated with a degree in Special Education. Currently, my personal ministry revolves around working with young moms and women through our church. Through bible studies, small groups and teaching opportunities, my passion is to help women embrace the Gospel in such a way that it captures their hearts and not just their minds. I enjoy watching movies, drinking sweet tea, riding my bike and eating any assortment of cheap chocolate. David and I have been married since 1988 and live in Greenville, SC. We have three grown children, five grand-children, and are currently enjoying our empty nest!

On the lighter side…

  • At the current time, I have three used tubes of toothpaste by my sink that are in various states of nastiness. I have no explanation for why, but I know that when I look at my husband’s sink and see that it is spotless it reminds that opposites do indeed attract.
  • In 1989, I began scrap booking but there was no Creative Memories back then (this proves that I am officially old). It was called Shoebox to Showcase before they changed their name. I was a scrap booking machine until this thing called a digital camera came along and ruined my system. Now it seems like I couldn’t find and print a picture from my computer even if my life depended on it.
  • I would choose raw cookie dough, eggs included, over a warm cooked cookie any day of the week. And no I have never gotten salmonella poisoning.
  • I love to exercise and ride my bike. But only if I do it with a friend. No friend available. No exercise for me. That’s how much I love to exercise!
